That happened to us when we adopted/rescued our 3rd boxer who was 7 mos old. The lady was going to take her to the pound or wanted to give her away. When we called her to get directions, she said she wanted $300 for her or would take her to the pound!! We just gave her the money to rescue the dog. She just decided she didn't want her anymore. She wasn't up to date on her shots, no microchip and not spayed so we were out quite a bit of money to get her up to date but it was worth it. Why do people get puppies if they don't commit for life??
