I'm getting tired of all the hype and trying to ignore it, but something just got my attention. After demanding Zimmerman be arrested for "murdering" her child, Trayvon's mother told reporters on a live on-air interview she now believes the shooting was an "accident." So, now that Zimmerman has been charged and the real truth is coming out, she suddenly changes her tune.

I think this has all gotten out of hand. I know that an innocent person's life was taken but this stuff happens all the time. And now they are just trying to get more attention. Nothing can bring their son back and they need to grieve as a family and keep it from causing all this.

I'm sick of the media only showing pictures of Martin when he's about 12 years old.  What 12 year old doesn't look cute and innocent!?!.  The "kid" was 17, 6'2" tall, and somewhere around 200 lbs.

i'm also sick of that picture...but, on the flip side, the media does this in most cases where they are portraying the victim.  think of missing girl cases, etc.  they always show the sweet innocent highschool graduation picture.  they don't show the keg stand, bikini, hanging all over guys pic.  jmo

No Bevo.  A 6'3" 17 year old, who witnesses saw pounding on a man, is dead.

Trayvon's mom went into Jesse Jackson speech mode when she delivered a press conference about the arrest.

She said they only wanted an arrest,  but followed that by saying they will not rest until Zimmerman is convicted.

Then she said it's not about color, it's not about black and white, it's about the heart and the heart is red.  Someone needs to let her know red is a color.  That statement has no meaning.  It's just like Jesse Jackson's word play. He speaks nonsense, but if it rhymes people assume it's reason.  Trayvon's mom spoke a lot of words to make it sound like she was saying something important.  But her words made no sense, and most of what she said was contradictory and was full of lies and hate.

We will never hear Trayvon's side since he was murdered, and a 17 yo in high school is still a child. I hope no one else has to experience losing a child and then get judged as to when it is enough to stop fighting for what you think was an injustice.
