1. Choking Game 2. Cinnamon Challenge 3. Huffing or Dusting 4. Car "Surfing" 5. Mumblety Peg 6. Chubby Bunny 7. The ABC Scratching Game
Teens frequently keep details about these games under wraps. Parents often don't hear about them until someone in the community is rushed to the emergency room or dies.
Boys and girls both participate, to some degree.
"Boys tend to take more risks, as do teens in middle school, although kids of any age may try," says Jennifer Shu, MD, an Atlanta pediatrician. "They usually happen in groups, where there is peer pressure."

I had to google most of these. I don't really see how the cinnamon challenge (seeing if you can swallow a tablespoon of cinnamon) or chubby bunny (putting marshmallows in your mouth & saying "chubby bunny" until you pronounce it clearly or spit out the marshmallows) could be considered dangerous. I mean they're all dumb, but those two don't seem dangerous.

I don't know. The cinnamon one will kill you. lol I went to the health food store on Northpark a few years ago. There was, what looked like a sweet little lady working there. I was asking her about the liquid cinnamon. She opened the bottle and put a teeny tiny drop on my finger and said taste it, it is great. So I did. OMG! I nearly died. I had tears running down my face, I couldn't breath. I asked her wth was wrong with her. I mean she was fine, didn't bother her at all. I cried all the way to my car. Tears ran down my face for another 20 min.
So that one is bad.
Like you I will have to look up the rest.
I am glad I didn't have stupid friends growing up. But even if I did, I can't imagine actually doing anything that would have hurt me. I was always too wimpy to do anything that involved pain.

the cinnamon challenge could cause the person to suffer hypoxia, choking, vomiting and coughing. The game can reportedly cause pneumonia if the cinnamon is aspirated into the lungs.

Wow...I can't think of anything that dumb we did when we were younger, of then again, maybe I just didn't hang out with a bunch of idiots. The dumbest thing we did was use these little stupid plastic suction cup toy things to give ourselves "hickeys". I actually didn't do it, but some of my friends did. SO dumb, but not enough to kill us!

@Zephard:
Didn't have correction fluid when I was in HS.
But those mimeograph pages did have a nice smell, just don't think you get a buzz off of them.

lol @ KDC
Yep we lived on the edge and rode our bikes behind the mosquito truck. We ate candy. We never used sunscreen. And we never used a seatbelt.
