unless you own your home you can move , but most security companies have different rates it depends on the size & type of the system you will need .

Also it would be wise to stop calling him your "boyfriend" if you suggest in any way that this is a relationship when you speak to the police they will not pay as much attention to your problem as they will with him being a perfect stranger that has pushed his way into your life. Just FYI

Do they have a contract? I like smiththompson bc you pay a little for the equipment they install (if any is needed) but they have no contract. Month to month only.

Not sure if they require a contract or not. A couple of friends of mine just started using them and have the system via cellular. Seems to have a whole lot more to offer for the money than ADT. Plus you do not have to have a lnad line it your house. I started reading their website. I hope ot have them out on my next day off.
