I saw that first thing this morning, I about puked...then I just got pissed, then I about cried, that whole thing brought up a ton of negative emotions in me...:-(

Sadly, I doubt many people these days would understand that distinction, or even describe who Zell is.
Even sadder, a lot of these conservative Democrats (i.e., Ben Nelson) are going the way of conservative Republicans--increasingly extinct. Used to be that you could count on a coalition of conservative Democrats and the mainstream GOP to get things done. Now, every party goes by the "spend-spend-spend" mantra, the only question is on WHAT. Every party believes in government, the only question is in WHICH sector they want intervention.

It would have been great if they spent the trillion dollars on curing cancer and not poorly run car companies, "feel good" energy (solar, wind), and other various special interest programs.
