Okay my avatar is not of our family dogs.. but we just found out our first beagle, Otto, has a stage 5 heart murmur.... Sad..

Can you put him on meds?  Enalipril and Lasix will help him.  Plus Omega 3 supplement.

I am not sure if he is on any meds yet, my sister is putting him on some special diet that's all I've heard. I think surgery is also an option. Can't wait to visit my Mom's this wknd so I can hug him :'(

Jamie I love the pics you take of dogs running or jumping. We have 2 of the world's laziest beagles, so our only action shots are yawns or sneezes hehe

also guilty , we have 3 poodles & they run our home . My little brown poodles has an enlarged heart & he is on 2 different meds . However the enlarged heart does not slow him down at all . He runs , jumps & keeps up with the other 2 , so no big problems yet .
