Was getting ice cream at Baskin Robbins the other day and noticed a restaurant called Papa King. Has anyone tried it? If so, what did you think?

LOVE Papa King!! I like their Pizza better than any in Kingwood. There gyros are great- reminds me of the gyros I used to get in the Greek community in Cincinnati- IMO way better than Nico Nico's. Not had a bad meal there. The family that owns it is really nice and very hard workers!

Best Pizza around imo too.

The owners are super nice, and they work hard.  If you haven't been by, give them a try.  In this economy all our local shops need to be supported.

To me they are.  I love RC's thick crust pizza though.

I just love Papa King's.  The sauce is great and I love their crust, it isn't greasy and soggy like some places.

I prefer the pizza at RC's.  Papa King's crust doesn't do it for me.

Papa King has great gyros. I think their pizza is hit or miss. I've had it when the pizza was great and one time order the garlic chicken pizza, it was terrible, the chix tasted like it was old. I threw it out. I have been there several times for gyros and they are consistently good.

I think here in US, most are made with beef & lamb or chicken & lamb. In Mediterrian countries it is lamb or goat. I typically won't eat lamb and oh gosh would never eat a goat, they are too cute to eat. They put this yogurt cucumber sauce on it, and it is yummy. Not to mention the pita bread wrap, so good!
