I don't think I'd chance the stuff getting into the engine. They make kits to redo the threads.

They have these spring looking things you can thread into the engine block to fix that, and you don't have to worry about ending up with a spark plug embedded in your arm.

Get you a recoil or helicoil and just fix it for good. You can get it at any auto parts.

JB weld is the tool of a really really really really really bad mechanic.
JB is a great tool to have, as long as you use it as a temp fix
