Cam stained our front door & did a good job . However, we replaced our french patio doors with a sliding glass door & Home Depot did it for us . They sent a guy to measure out opening & then it took 2 weeks to get the correct size door & install it . And it looks great .

We had lowes do out french doors, replacing the current french doors.

i would NOT do that again.

Whatever contractor they used, sucked.

Really? Lowes did a great job installing my front door, side light, glass door and back door. I guess I got a different contractor.

you got very lucky!!! I had french doors installed and I had the contractor come out and fix issues 5 or 6 times wouldn't you know it the stupid screen door part still doesn't work! After listening to everyone here I think I'm calling CAM to fix it finally sheesh!

Who would you suggest for a glue down hardwood floor job? Cam? Any others?
I recognize Northeast renovations but don't know if that is good or bad.

We needed an almost exact match to the hardwood in the rest of the house. We found something close at Home Depot but all the information about them using bad contractors had me thinking I want to talk to some-one else about the job.

it pays to get a licensed contractor ask to see the license( they are suppose to carry a wallet size with them at all times) if they don't have one find someone else that can show you their license. Make sure they are also bonded & insured before they start doing any work for you , or if anything happens you will be held responsible for it .

Thanks @WJo We are new to using contractors. In the past we did it all ourselves but I think I want to go professional now. Sometimes our mistakes cost more than what it would have cost to have some-one do it for us.
