To just assume that though at first without those facts is just racist.

I read the story first before I ever posted....no racism here....just obvious facts that Mexicans were involved. The illegal part is an assumption but probably a good one.

I didn't assume anything...read the article and also drew a speculative point based on proximity of other businesses. Asking a question is neither discriminatory nor implying when drawing conclusions from published facts.

I read the story first and saw the Hispanic last names. Dude is young and driving a BMW. Most likely they are part of a gang and most likely he is illegal.

If I was of Mexican heritage I would be pissed at how the illegals are ruining my reputation (Americans of Mexican decent).

Keep your doors locked, get a gun and/or home security system. People these kind of punks love Kingwood were an easy target. Dont make yourself one. Do whatever it takes to make them think twice about even considering this at your house. Most crimes are crimes of opportunity, they want to get in and get out with the least amount of chance of them getting shot or mauled by my large dogs. Prayers going out to the family and to the officers trying to catch this scum. Regardless of their nationality they are scum and deserve to be caught and punished.

Police presence in the community might help. See very few officers patrolling compared to other communities I have lived. If one feels they have time to pull something off , they usually do.
