My DH and I drove to Biloxi Mississippi and stayed for 4 days. We enjoyed the buffets and the night time walks with the ships all lite up. My mother loaned me her new car for the trip and it over heated on the way there. So some of our trip was spent waiting for a tow truck , waiting for cabs and waiting at the dealership. We had a much better 10 year anniversary trip on a Carnival Cruise. I just got sick when we got back home. It took me a week to get my land legs.

Hawaii 8 days , we had a package deal that included the minister & his wife & an ocean side wedding . Very romantic .

That sounds very nice and I will not even go into the image that went through my head when I read that at first....

ALL THOSE IMAGES ARE GOOD. LET YOUR MIND WANDER.....is that wander lust??? LOL!

I was still in college and my wife and I paid for our wedding. We spent our honeymoon at a relative's cabin on a nice lake. It was isolated so nobody could hear us howl.

Went to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Tennessee......SO BEAUTIFUL, and fun. Pretty cheap too!

Driving distance from where we got married, which was a benefit too. But, that is a distant memory...along with that marriage. lol

We went to Orlando and did the Disney thing. We got married in Sep so there were very few kids, no lines and weather was beautiful.

Went to Petti Jean State Park in Arkansas. Stayed in a cabin. Usually it takes 6 months to get a reservation. First day it was warm, second everything was iced over and third we were snowed in. Such Bliss! I think we stayed 4 days but had stayed at an upscale hotel near the wedding ceremony the first night then drove the second day of the honeymoon to the cabin for 4 days. It was great but what was even better was that since we had not lived together before the wedding and had moved our stuff in to an apt the weekend before the ceremony we were able to go home together and break in our new apt./ bed.

Well we were 'old' when we got married and both had great jobs and had been working for some time; so we could take that kind of trip. Once the kids started coming it was too hard to do the overseas trips.
